Europe’s biggest botanical garden
Botanicactus is a botanical garden on Mallorca and is located in the south of the island near the town of Ses Salines. It comprises 50,000 sq m. of tropical vegetation and has an artificial lake of 10,000 sq m. There are over 400 species of plants and 10,000 species of cacti. The collection of Mallorcan flora is 25,000 sq m in size (olive, pomegranate, almond, pine, cypress, orange, carob and eucalyptus trees).
According to the operator this is the biggest botanical garden in Europe. It was opened on 20 May 1989 and was the first on the Balearic Islands.
Botanicactus is on private ground and is not subsidized by any organisation.

November to February 10.30 to 16.30 (25 and 26.12 only till 14.30)
March till October 9.00 till at least 18.30
(June – August Saturdays and Sundays only till 14.00)
